THIS Purple Stripe Garlic powder, grown in the mountains of northern Vietnam, is savory and sweet, and its flavor adds depth and complexity to everything it touches. The powder can be used in place of fresh garlic, or as an upgrade to standard garlic powder. Add it to tomato sauces, stews, salad dressings or simply sprinkle it onto stir-fries or pizza. The rich, buttery aroma is a welcome addition to cooked dishes, breads and even as a sprinkle topping for pizza! This is an heirloom variety with small bulbs and a purple stripe on its papery skin.

This Royal Cinnamon has been harvested in the mountains around the ancient Vietnamese capital city of Huế for centuries. This is an heirloom variety not widely harvested or exported, and it exemplifies the intense sweetness and spiciness for which Vietnamese cinnamon is prized. Use it in place of Saigon or other cinnamons in pastries and baked goods, or sprinkle into rich, savory meat or tomato-based dishes. Royal Cinnamon is the species Cinnamomum loureiroi. It was historically called Saigon cinnamon, but most of what's exported as Saigon cinnamon these days is Cinnamomum cassia. They are different species, but they are often confused for one another, and it's worth noting that neither cinnamon grows anywhere near Saigon!

This rich, sweet Smoked Pimentón Paprika comes from a protected region in Western Spain, where sweet red peppers have been grown and smoked for centuries. Fresh peppers are slowly dried over oak coals, which imbue them with a rich, smoky flavor that imparts a savory depth and gorgeous color. Use it to add depth and complexity to pasta sauce or chili, use it as a rub for grilled or roasted meats, or sprinkle it over sauteed veggies. This paprika comes from the Extremadura region, famous for pimentón de la vera, which has a Designation of Protected Origin status from the European Union. Restaurateur Alissa Wagner told NY Mag it's her favorite paprika.

The Turkish variety of the Aleppo pepper, this summery, mildly spicy Silk Chili was historically ground using heavy silk ropes, giving them a smooth, slippery texture. They have a warm, tomato-like flavor and a medium heat, similar to Espelette and Korean chilis. Also called marash pepper, these are great in any dish in need of a little excitement, from scrambled eggs to burgers to brownies. Our Silk Chili Flakes are naturally preserved with a little bit of salt and sunflower seed oil to keep them fresh and flavorful. Perfect for cooking or finishing. Silk Chili is botanically identical to the Aleppo pepper, which has been cultivated in Syria for centuries. Due to the ongoing violence of the Syrian civil war, true Aleppo chili is unfortunately no longer available for import.

Named by Saveur as the “Best Black Peppercorn for Heat” This gingery, savory, workhorse-of-the kitchen Robusta Black Peppercorns come from a small organic farm in Vietnam. They're harvested when the peppercorns are ripe, and their classic, herbaceous, robust flavor captivated us at first grind! They're grown by two friends, Dūng and Thanh, using regenerative integrated agricultural techniques. Vietnam's prized Robusta coffee is intercropped with the pepper vines, which provide shade for the coffee bushes and maybe even pick up a bit of that Robusta flavor. This is your daily black pepper.
